Psalm 25 - Instructing a Sinner Like Me

Seems I am struggling a bit to stay focused....
need to get back on the path.
I had a huge burst of energy while working on Psalm 19, and then
things seemed to fade away and dry up...

So, the best thing for me is to "get up, dust myself off, and start all over again" -- as the song says.

Psalm 25
8. Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
9. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.
10. All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant.

Psalm 23 - Suprising Blessings from the Paths of Righteousness

Reading Psalm 23 this morning, I again realize how many
and how great are the blessings I have received from the hand of God.
The Lord is blessing the work of my hands - both at home and at work.

But why should I be surprised at this:
"The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters"

JV and I are communicating at a more sincere and intimate level. This is good and is also a blessing from God. "He (God) restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake."

God is removing all the bad memories and troubles of former sins and leading us to greener pastures and paths of righteousness. What is a path of righteousness? I believe it is a daily habbit that pleases God, or by contrast, NOT walking in the former paths of sins -- that I already know lead to pain (for myself) and those around me (my familty, co-workers). For instance, a path of righteousness is getting up early to read the Bible and pray (and write in my journal). Notice it is a "path of righteousness" - not a "moment of righteousness" .... I must stay on the path! It is a journey, a walk, not a place to sit. I must stay on the path all day long. He leads me .... so all I have to do is follow... and lest I grow weary in well doing, my sheperd also makes me lie down... he makes me rest from all my work.
